I loved convenient placing of a refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, and a dining area in the chalet. I had a comfy bed and an amazing bathroom. Excellent remote location really close to a beautiful lake along one of BC's most interesting highways, and nature.

vines and puppies hideaway bed & breakfast truly exceeded our expectations! from the welcoming casserole and homemade cookies to the amazing sheets and private water access, everything was perfect. the canoe was a highlight, and the outdoor shower was so refreshing. we can't wait to find a way to go back to this fantastic stay!

The breathtaking views, peaceful accommodations, and pet-friendly environment were perfect for a disabled traveler like me. the host went above and beyond by providing a delicious hot supper and even made a birthday cake for my daughter. the cabin had all the necessary amenities, including a propane stove, fridge, and wood stove. the availability of firewood and kindling, as well as the option to cook over an open fire pit, added to the overall experience. the highlight for me was the luxury of an open outdoor hot shower, where I could enjoy the beautiful scenery. the host's thoughtfulness and attention to detail made for a memorable stay.

The host, Kristi, was an absolute delight, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. She even surprised me with a delicious homemade birthday cake for my daughter! The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a propane stove, fridge, and even a wood stove. The outdoor hot shower allowed me to enjoy the stunning scenery while getting clean. Cooking over the open fire pit was a unique and enjoyable experience. I also appreciated the abundance of firewood and kindling provided. Despite being off the grid, there was ample food available for a hot dinner and a great breakfast. Everything was so well thought out, with plenty of extra touches to make my stay special. I highly recommend visiting Vines and Puppies Hideaway for an unforgettable getaway.

There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. The presence of mosquitos in the outdoor area was expected given the location, but thankfully the host provided potent bug spray to combat them.

Likes and Best Aspects: During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the cabin. The host went above and beyond, providing us with a delicious home-cooked casserole upon arrival and a well-stocked breakfast. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right there. The cabin's location on the lake was also a fantastic feature. Being able to explore the serene waters in the provided canoe was a highlight of our stay. Additionally, the wood-burning stove in the cabin added a cozy touch, keeping us warm and comfortable throughout our visit.

Dislikes and Worst Aspects: My only disappointment was the lack of curtains in the loft upstairs.

The cozy cabin was a dream, with a hot dinner waiting for us on the stove and plenty of food for breakfast. Kristi, our host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The ambiance of no electricity and the lantern-lit surroundings added to the charm. The snowshoe down to the lake provided by Kirsten was a highlight, as was the beautiful view from the cabin. The availability of a canoe allowed us to explore the lake, and the overall value for money was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience.

That the travel time to get to the cabin was a bit long, which limited our ability to fully take advantage of all the activities offered, like canoeing on the lake. there were a few minor inconveniences, like using an outhouse and limited access to modern amenities.

The value for our money was excellent, with beautiful views, quiet and cozy accommodations, and a pet-friendly environment. The location, right off the highway with a lakefront view, was perfect. The staff, especially Kristi, our superb host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even making a delicious birthday cake for my daughter.

The breakfast experience could benefit from more variety or options.
